Slow Adventures in Slothville

Monday Quickie

Went to see “Gay Pirates of the Caribbean” on opening night and I have to say….

Twenty Bucks.

It was all horrible, bombastic theme music, no plot and a cliff-hanger ending that made me SO MAD because no way am I going to see the third one after the sucky second one. The only redeeming factor was that there were a bunch of retards in the theater dressed as pirates. Gay, retarded pirates. So that was kind of cool.

Over there in the sidebar you’ll find a new category: Current Slothful Events. If you scroll over the links you’ll see what they are. Currently reading, currently doing, currently amused by, etc. That section will change pretty often so if you’re interested, keep checking it.

Hopefully a better update tomorrow when this hangover shrinks from the size of the sun to the size of a chihuahua.

  3. I saw it last night too. It was about what I expected. J laughed once and couldn’t figure out why everyone else was always laughing.

Hehehe, so they were actual Butt Pirates?

  5. I was totally pissed about the ending, too. But it was otherwise good. I mean, Johnny Depp in costume… makes me… happy…
