Slow Adventures in Slothville

Unlikely Gratification of the Day

Filed under: Celebrity Whoredom, Slothyness — shhville @ 2:19 pm

The always reliable Popsugar has a series of photographs of celebrities before they grew up and got all hot. I know we’ve all seen “Young Celebrity Photos!” before, but I simply couldn’t resist showing you George Clooney with chapped lips and a bowl cut. (Not to mention Brad Pitt doing…….whatever it is he’s doing.)

Ok, in fairness I suppose I should include a picture of myself with a bowl cut too:

Which, in retrospect, and now that I’m on a roll, looks pretty much exactly like this kid:

Redrum Friday, everyone!!

  1. OK, is it me, or does the picture on the left of that Pitt montage look more Clooney than Pitt?

    I think it’s the eyebrows.

  2. Hey, you look much cuter in your bowl haircut that George did. Not to mention you don’t have the geek glasses.

  3. Sha! He’s walking like an Egyptian.

    Wow…Clooney was an ugmo.

You do look like that kid. The flowers in your hair take the spooky edge off though. Perhaps you’re the lost Lawrence kid?

I had a bowl cut once. I will NOT be posting it.

  4. Dude…I don’t know why I don’t read properly.

    That is clooney.

    Uh huh.

I’m going to go get some…coffee…or tequila or something.

  5. Sloth, I am your bowl-mate.

  6. In addition to the chapped lips, I especially love the one rogue chunk of hair in Clooney’s bangs that didn’t make the cut.

And does anyone else think it’s weird that his hair is brown but his brows are black? Or am I the only one who noticed…

  7. What a cute slothy!!!

And, I’m sorry about your ring. I’ve had that happen and I hope they are still burning in the depths of hell.

The cyclopian baby… oh Lord and Lady…

  8. I love the neon fashion of the 80’s.

And I agree on the non-creepiness of the flowers.

    Uh, is ESC okay?

  9. I like that George had some red on his head when he was a kid. Unfortunately, like all redheads, it darkens as you age. And goes salt n pepper. Boy, what I have to look forward to. šŸ˜‰
