Hey, so I’m back. But I’m really MORE back tomorrow because after taking two months off from work I came back to find that our office is neck deep in an audit.
So I’ll post tomorrow, eh? In the meantime, I  have to  take care of the spider web  stretched across the corner of my cube and no, I’m not even kidding about that.

Absent Sloth

Wow, I haven’t abandoned Slothville this egregiously since……the last time.

I’ve been busier than…….oh, I don’t know. Paris Hilton’s publicist? Man, that was lame. See? I’m so scattered I can’t even get my brain to come up with a decent analogy.

I DO have a post coming soon, I swear. It’s about dating do’s and don’ts. Well, mostly don’ts. Until then, go to Cute Overload and watch the video of the hamster eating a wee piece of broccoli. It distracted me from my Work Overload for a full 7 minutes as I watched it over and over, snort-laughing all the way.

Tuesday Non-Post

Looking around my workspace today, I feel the panic starting like a heat wave up my neck. I have an impossible amount of work to do. There is literally no way I can make this happen, and I have to submit a report to the chair of the department this afternoon.

There is a big part of me that just wants to shut down and refuse to do what I have to do and read celebrity goss all day. But Paris and Lindsay will just have to get along without my avid attention today. Until I have time to give you a better post, please entertain yourselves with Worth1000’s latest awesome contest: celebrities as anime.

Peeps!! I’m sorry to inform you all that I just found out YESTERDAY that everything I want processed by the end of the year has to be finished by MONDAY. Since when do they give me THREE MEASLY DAYS notice??? I’m the financial approver for AN ENTIRE GIGANTIC DEPARTMENT.

FINE.

So, between this new development and my mom’s 50th birthday on Saturday, I’m afraid I won’t be a-bloggin’ until Tuesday comes a-knockin’. Good luck with whatever you have to do this weekend. Graaaaaamuhfuh!!!!!!
